About Shannon Alberts
(also known as Shannon Lynn Alberts, Shannon L. Alberts, Shannon Schweinhagen, Shannon Lynn Schweinhagen, Shannon L. Schweinhagen)
Even from a young age, attorney Shannon Alberts was instilled with the desire to help others. She fondly remembers in high school when her mother would get the family together to volunteer at homeless shelters once a week. Years later, she never lost the spark that comes from picking up those who are at a low point. Now, as a family law attorney, Shannon is dedicated to giving her clients a voice and getting them and their families what they deserve.
Shannon was one of the rare people who wanted to be a lawyer from an early age. As a young woman she was fascinated by the law and saw it as a positive force to change people's lives for the better. Originally, she had dreams of being a senator but that changed after law school. Since her mother was the VP of an insurance agency she quickly went to work in insurance defense. However, something didn’t feel right. It didn't take her long to realize she missed doing something that was important for others. She wanted to help people, not just help insurance companies save money.
Shannon is a passionate defender of her clients in the areas of divorce, child custody, and child support. Her drive is to help people navigate the law and find a better future. By using her knowledge and skill as an attorney, she gives power and a voice to her clients. She is constantly looking for ways to empower them and works tirelessly for the sake of others.
As someone who grew up in Illinois, she now appreciates the slower pace of life in Wisconsin. She is the proud mother of two young children, Madeline and Maverick and loves spending time with them. You might find Shannon enjoying dinner and live music at Black Sheep in Green Bay or spending a day at Bay Beach with her kids. Even though her husband is from Door County, she still considers it one of her favorite vacation spots and loves to visit the wineries, beaches, and antique stores.
