About Dayna Erickson
Attorney Dayna Erickson's passion is being a genuine source of comfort and guidance for clients going through divorce. She wants the people she works with to feel less alone, more understood, and hopeful about what comes next. Ask her what she likes most about being a lawyer and her answer is simple: getting to see clients at the end of the divorce process.
Dayna was first exposed to family law after her 1L summer, and ever since she has been motivated to help clients get through such a difficult process. She built her experience as an intern and summer associate with Everson, Whitney, Everson & Brehm, S.C. from 2023 to 2024, where she focused on family law and criminal defense. Before that, Dayna worked with the Brown County District Attorney's Office from 2018 to 2023, gaining early exposure to the legal system and courtroom practice.
Dayna earned her law degree from Marquette University Law School in 2026. In the school's Mediation Clinic, she mediated small claims cases in Milwaukee County under attorney supervision and drafted the stipulations when the parties reached agreement. On the Mock Trial Team, she competed at a regional competition trying a civil case, judged on opening statements, witness examinations, and the ability to articulate objections. She also served as the Student Liaison for the Litigation Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin, attending monthly meetings and organizing a networking event at the law school, and she wrote an article for the Litigation Section as a law student. Today she is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin.
Before law school, Dayna graduated cum laude from St. Norbert College in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy and a Pre-Law Certificate, earning Dean's List honors and membership in the Political Science Honor Society. She chose her majors to be as prepared as possible for law school, competed in Mock Trial, served as a student representative on both the Honor Board and the Student Affairs Board, and volunteered at the Title IX Office.

Dayna grew up in Wisconsin, and what she loves most about the state is its people; everywhere she has been, the locals are always so kind. Her favorite getaway is Door County. As part of the Sterling team, Dayna is proud to serve families in Menomonee Falls and across Wisconsin with the comfort, guidance, and genuine care she believes every client deserves.
