About Robert J. Keenan
(also known as Robert Keenan, Robert John Keenan, Rob Keenan, Rob J. Keenan, Rob John Keenan)
Robert is experienced in almost all aspects of family law including divorce, post judgments, as well as child placement and support. A passionate problem-solver, he focuses on providing transparent, sophisticated representation for every client. To get the best possible outcome for every client, Robert balances compassion with a willingness to aggressively advocate when necessary.
However, Robert is also drawn to family law because of its power to affect both clients and their families. As a person who grew up with two divorced parents, he has a uniquely personal appreciation for successful co-parenting. Though a fierce advocate, he firmly believes in maintaining positive relationships between parents and their children.

Robert earned his law degree from Marquette University after packing up his previous life in the DC area. While grinding away in the library and working as a law clerk, he was supported by his wife and still feels his diploma is as much hers as his own. While in law school Robert served as the vice president of the Estate Planning Society and also volunteered for the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic.
Robert lives in Milwaukee together with his wife, two daughters, yellow lab, and cat. As recent arrivals to the state, they have already fallen in love with the many sights, food spots, and seasonal events. Together with his family, he often walks to game days at Miller Park and enjoys the many great local restaurants and bars.
Though Robert has lived in many places across the country, he genuinely believes that people from Wisconsin are the friendliest.
