About Anne McIntyre
(also known as Anne Solka McIntyre, Anne Solka)
Attorney Anne McIntyre leverages a wide range of legal experience when advocating for her clients. She got her start as a staff attorney with the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee. For five and a half years, she represented children as a Guardian ad Litem in child protective cases. One of her greatest achievements came during this time, where she helped two abused children in a years-long custody battle end up with a loving family.
Before joining Sterling Law Offices she was program attorney with Disability Rights Wisconsin. Additionally, she worked at an elder law firm handling cases unique to the elderly and estate planning. Her experiences are tied together by a desire to help others, in all stages of their life.
Family law was her primary interest during law school and throughout her legal successes she always had a desire to return to it. As a family law attorney at Sterling Law offices, she is thrilled to have the chance to practice exclusively as a family lawyer in the areas of divorce, child custody, and child support.
The most gratifying part of the job for her is listening to her client's stories and knowing she has the legal knowledge and skills to help them.
In the courtroom, Anne enjoys a challenge. Family law is always changing, which she sees as a chance to keep learning and get better. To be a great family attorney, she understands that it's not enough to simply jump through legal hoops and get a good result on paper. When her clients approach her, she takes the time to truly listen to their story and come up with a strategy that is unique to their needs.
Anne graduated Magna Cum Laude, from Northern Illinois University College of Law, receiving the David Peskind Memorial Award for Outstanding Work in Family Law. While in law school she met her husband and got married during her third year. In the same year, she took courses on domestic violence, which included a clinic component. While a student, she helped clients who sought help against their abusers, and one of her first courtroom experiences was successfully obtaining an order of protection for her client.
Anne lives with her husband and three young children in Waukesha. As a girl from Upper Michigan (a proud Yooper), she learned to make the best of the cold winters and was an avid cross-country and downhill skier, ice skater, and sledding fan. These days, she still loves figure skating and teaching her kids how to ice skate.
In addition to milder winters, living in Wisconsin has brought her close to her family. Her sister lives in Appleton, and her husband has a large extended family in Waukesha County. Even though she is not a native Wisconsinite, she finds her family bonds have made Wisconsin her home for many years. When she's not visiting family, she'll be cheering on the Packers and Brewers or going to one of the many festivals in the Milwaukee area.

"It was nice to work with a law firm that deals only with family law. Not having to worry about every papercopy, every call, every email and having to worry about my retainer fee put my mind at ease. I have been recommended and had to deal with lawyers that focus on other areas of law and none of them made me feel as comfortable about my case as attorney Navarrette did. She was always very quick to respond to calls or email, day or night. If I ever need anything again I will not hesitate to contact attorney Navarrette again."
