Brookfield Family Law & Divorce Attorneys
About Sterling Law Offices
Every lawyer at Sterling Law Offices is committed to putting clients first. Our reputation is built on hard work and results. Our team of family law attorneys is here to provide you specialized help to get you through potentially one of the toughest and emotional times of your life.
“Help” doesn't mean looking busy to increase the bill and line our pockets, we work hard and take pride in involving our clients in every step of the process. Communication is a cornerstone of our success, and that means giving you constant updates as the case unfolds.
If you have feedback for us at any point, we encourage it. After all, an attorney who's not listening to their client can't effectively fight for them either.
Since we started Sterling Law Offices in 2013 and expanded to many convenient Wisconsin locations, we've had a mission of offering something different in the world of family law. First and foremost, this is the only area we practice in. Unlike many offices who work the odd family law case in between a busy schedule, we're entirely made up of family law attorneys who are caring, understanding and extremely knowledgeable about the areas where you need help the most.
Not just content with taking the worry out of the process itself, we also want to take the worry away from your wallet. Sterling Law Offices does not charge hourly or ask for a retainer, we ask simply for one flat-rate fee. Even if your case takes extra time, or gets particularly complicated, you'll never pay more than you expect.
If that seems simple, it's because it is. Our reputation is built on the results of our satisfied clients, not on nickel and diming those who we're meant to be fighting for.
Our team includes divorce lawyers, certified Collaborative Law practitioners, trained mediators and a hard-working paralegal team whose job it is to keep you informed at all times. Beyond those in the office, we also employ a highly experienced network of professionals including court officials, social workers, appraisers, and therapists to make sure you have every tool at your disposal.

What our Clients are Saying
"This past fall, I filed for divorce. My husband and I were in a situation where neither of us really needed a lawyer to sort things out, so I decided to file pro se. I was concerned about making a mistake in the paperwork and delaying the final separation, so I called Sterling Law. Attorney Festerling agreed to work w/me on a "consult only" basis, meaning she would answer my questions and review my documents, charging only for the time spent on those things. There would be no big legal fees incurred for her presence in court or for her time in filling out documents that I was capable of handling myself. She was kind and helpful, and our case went through without a hitch. The overall outlay was very reasonable. I was very happy with the help I received and felt confident going to the court date, knowing all our ducks were in a row. It was as good as an experience like this can be."Beth E.
