I enjoyed working with Andria. She explained things well, was kind and patient, especially while I was dealing with medical issues that we now know to be epilepsy caused by autoimmune disease.

Andria walked into a tough situation and went to bat straight away. On a philosophical level, I feel as though we were on the same page. As the case went on, and became more contentious, communication from Andria (and opposing counsel) became more sparse; I ended up settling with something passable, but not the result I wanted for my children. I had hoped that Attorney Adams would have been more opportunistic and used her knowledge and expertise to be more aggressive when trying to settle as there were signs of fraudulent tax filings, child endangerment, and slander brought by opposing counsel.

I understand that there were negotiations that I wasn’t a part of and strategies that I’m not an expert in, with that in mind, I know my understanding is narrow in scope and is emotionally biased.

Overall, I’m ok with where things ended up and if I need an attorney, I would work with Andria
again  I’d just file first.

I have been working with the Sterling firm for around 4-5 months now. I have a particularly interesting case Ive been told as there are so many moving part and alot of information to sift through as child support and custody cases quite often have. Im specifically working with Attorney Jack and his paralegal Claire. The experience Ive had with them has been great. Jacks a young, knowledgeable, motivated attorney who does a fantastic job of telling me what to expect and explaining the things I dont quite understand. He wont sugar coat it for me and gives me the good, bad and ugly of what could happen. Transparency is something I much appreciate. His demeanor and way he carried himself in out first hearing put me at ease. Ive spoke with his paralegal, Claire, quite a few times and she never makes me feel rushed when trying to explain what I need to relay or answer any questions that I have. One of the best parts is the communication Ive 3 or 4 ways to get in touch with my attorney and he always gets back quickly. Sterling from my experience so far has a great group of motivated and knowledgeable attorneys working for them and they work together very well from what Ive seen. Id recommend anyone going through any sort of family law to put your faith in them. Ive learned through this process that you cant quite control the outcomes but it helps to have an attorney and a law group that will put the work in and take this as seriously as you are. I think older people would prefer a face to face meeting. I was just unwilling to drive 2 hours to do it there was no face to face option in town offered.

My Lil sister had her son basically kidnapped by his father and her girlfriend its a long story some personal and so obvious reasons I wont get into deep. The girlfriend was apparently educated in law and going to law school. Well the father had moved to Indiana to live in her house with her and her kids. On the 3rd time visiting they never brought him home. We called alot of lawyer/ places to get help of a lawyer. We obviously found the papers we needed to file but they could take up to 30 days or more to see a judge. Which Im sure thats what they were counting on. Now Im not sure what we were looking for when we found Ellens firm but we knew forsure we needed her. I definitely knew we needed papers form a lawyer to get the judge to see this is a immediate situation.
Ellen typed up and signed / notarized papers ex parte motions for us. I do believe without those papers we might still be waiting for our court date . Now just remember that if you contact Sterling Lawyers LLC yes they make it affordable for people to get help if you arent able to pay even for their full retaining amount. I am going to say that it was cool that the 1st $100 we paid went towards the actual consult with the lawyer. And that was a total of $450 and another 2nd coaching of $450 . We had a court date 2 weeks within the day we got the papers and went to the court house. I cant really speak on communication as it was between my sister and Ellen but I do believe that would have been good if I was the one who needed her and not just the financial and emotional support.
Just remember everything in this world is about the money its how we live and survive. Ellen is there to help and they make it so its atleast affordable. Which consider what the actual fee of the lawyers we contacted before we for Ellen was major. So if your blessed to have someone help with financial help if you are ever in this type of situation. Go there but before you do make sure you are clear on what you are going for make sure everything is in order time is money not just hers but yours as well. Before you go have a clear understanding on what you need and be able to communicate this.
We were not and I really appreciate Ellen for spending extra time with us . To help my sister figure out what was needed. Anyways my nephew is coming home tomorrow and thanks to Ellen the Judge was able to make it happen. As I said Im very thankful for her patience because it is something my sister needed . My nephew could have been in Indiana without his family for months he is 3yrs old and doesnt really have a strong relationship with his dad and his dads new girlfriend was try to steal him and cut her out of the picture and she thought she was something because shes is going to law school? If thats true having Ellens documents filed and notarized showed the real true professional from the fake. I will be keeping Ellens card in my wallet from now until forever.
