You were my law firm for exactly 6 weeks before i had to end our relationship. nI paid you 6000 dollars. All that was done from your end was you made an appearance for me. My lawyer basically never asked about my situation at all. Everytime i talked to her i felt she was rushing me so she could get off the phone with me. I saw the emails she sent to my wife's lawyer and there were multiple mis spellings and did not sound professional at all. So after nothing getting accomplished 6 weeks later i got a refund of 2800 dollars. nI paid you 3200 to make an appearance for me. nVery disappointed with the whole experience
I felt like your fee structure was way out of line. I was very surprised to see that my case qualified for a move to stage II when very little movement had gone on with the case. We were basically in a waiting pattern until the respondent hired an attorney. I thought $4000 was a bit high, but was willing to have the advantages of a flat fee attorney. But $8000 for a simple legal separation was pretty high. I would not recommend this firm or method of billing.
Very professional and thorough. Answered all my questions through out the entire process and was always easy to get ahold of. I would recommend Nikole to anyone who needed representation. Thank you so much for your help!
We worked with both Genelle Johnson and Angela Boelter- they were able to resolve our situation very amicably. Thank you we are very grateful!
I never spoke to the same person twice
The efficiency and friendliness and the knowledge and background is what I was completely satisfied with and would recommend you guys anytime
Wonderful experience. I really had a great connection with Genelle!
I am in the middle of a divorce. I can give better informed grades after the final decree. At this point, I am vulnerable and distrusting of the process. Send it to me again in February!
I decided that I wanted to get a divorce from my husband. I was secretly checking out lawyers. When I decided to tell my husband that I wanted out and was looking at getting a lawyer, he thought that it would be a good idea to go through Sterling Law Office. We met with Latrice Knighton. She explained in detail how everything was going to work. If one or the other didn’t understand what she was saying, she would make sure that we were understanding what she was trying to say before we left. I would and have recommended this law firm. Thank you once again Latrice
Karen was excellent to work with. She made the process go smooth for me and she is very caring on hearing your thoughts and needs during the whole process. Communication was excellent within the whole company and I highly recommend using Karen @ Sterling Law Offices.
Kathy was excellent to work with. Communication was great through the whole process and she cared about my thoughts and needs. I would highly recommend!!
It was a pleasure being represented by Atty Morrell. He did an amazing job on responding to all communications in a timely manner. Definately recommend!!
My case was more complicated than I initially thought and I feel fixed fee structue doesn't give incentive for attorney to get more involved
I'm glad I found Sterling Law Offices. Kathy Curran was Great! She was patient, kind and understanding. And of course very knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
It was very quick and easy. It made the whole process streamline than if you had to do it yourself. The flat fee was nice.
On the court zoom video lawyer seemed unengaged and I did not feel very helped or given any other options/resources to my case.
Latrice Knighton was the perfect attorney for my case. She was professional, kept me updated on the progress of my case, and was very knowledgeable on the best way to present my case in court. She knows how to the handle the challenges of a difficult case. I highly recommend Attorney Knighton and Sterling Law Offices.
A hard thing for couples to go through is a divorce. I contemplated this for years, when I did decide to go through with it, I needed to find a good lawyer. Like everybody I stated to look on line. After reading dozens of the lawyers bio's I found that Ellen Rhodeman seem to fit. After setting up our first meeting, I felt very relaxed talking to her knowing that there would be many personal matters I would need to talk about. Ellen listen to everything I had to say, and one of her first things she said was “What took you so long” and she was right. I have heard many horror stories for other people on how their divorce went, and wished they had gotten a different lawyer. Well that was not my case. Ellen explained every step to me up front in our first meeting she even gave me options that I was not aware even existed. Another good thing, is I knew what the price was right from the start, no matter how many calls, e-mails or meeting we had, the price stayed the same. Seem like the time went by fast, and I am now Divorced. Ellen saved me money in the long run with the maintenance, something I did not thinking could change, and only for a few years. I would recommend Ellen, to anybody that is thinking of getting a divorce, or just needs questions answered on how the process goes. I am having my brother call Ellen next week to look at his divorce papers, there seems to be questions that were not taken care of. I also know if I need a lawyer in the future I will call Ellen first, I know Sterling law office handle many different law disputes. If she does not do that kind of work I would go with the lawyer she recommends.
Hey Stacy, I do have a push back on on my experience. Its not against Elizabeth, but came about from her switching firms mid way through my divorce. We had covered the first part of my divorce needs at her previous firm and just had to finalize some details and have the final court appearance. Even though she had done at least half of the work already (and I paid for that to her old firm), I was essentially double charged by having a flat rate. I understand how that perhaps makes sense with a client that starts and ends with you, but because I had to pay the full rate coming in half way through I feel like I was double/over charged. Obviously I was aware of this when I signed the contract and I did push back at that point, but I was told I had the option to stay with the lawyer I has began my divorce with and pay the full amount, or find a new lawyer. That was an unfortunate pair of options. In any case, if you would consider that issue I would greatly appreciate it.
Take care and God bless
Jon
Sterling handled my divorce quickly and I would definitely recommend using them. I paid on a fixed fee and was grateful to not be surprised by any additional fees or charges during my representation. Attorney Messerschmidt was great, and Sterling's staff was always prompt.
Nikole made the divorce process as painless as it could have possibly been. She explained things in ways that I was able to understand. She was very professional in and outside of the courtroom, and was available to answer any questions I had very quickly.
It was very good. Not what I had expected. Atty Latrice did a very good job. -Cindy
You guys got my divorce finally done
Very smooth. I didn?t need a lot of assistance. It was good to know there was a person there to ask quick questions too. Please let me know if you need me to do anything further.
Anne McIntyre was absolutely amazing and helped me get full custody!!! I almost lost hope in our system until I came here
Sterling Law Offices gave amazing advice and direction going through my case and I couldn’t have had a better experience with Ellen Rhodeman.
It was a pleasure to work with Tristan and Derek (former attorney) during the whole process. Everything about my case was clear or clarified in a very timely manner. If I ever need legal assistance again I wouldn't hesitate to be back with Sterling. They made the whole process as easy as possible and they respected my best interests all the time. Thank you!
