I contacted Sterling Law because of reviews like these. For complete honesty, I was asked to offer a review as a way of giving thanks, but I do so in accordance with my actual feelings. Genuine appreciation and gratitude. I was getting divorced, I was lost, I was not in the best mental space. I was thinking of handling the process myself. I am so grateful that I instead reached out, and even more grateful that I was assigned Tiffany Vogel as my attorney. But I first want to talk about the consultation. I met with Donnetta Vanderhoeven, who was sympathetic, honest, clear and direct. She was one of the reasons I decided to go with Sterling. She made me feel like I knew what I was getting into. I also liked the flat fee structure. I didn't have to worry about sending an email that cost $350 because I was charged an hour and a typo or miscommunication meant $350 more for a clarifying email. I ended up being quoted a price that was more expensive than I would have liked, but, I also didn't really know what divorces could cost. In the end I felt comfortable with the law offices, the honesty during the consultation and that I would be represented well. Immediately I felt that I had made the right choice. My emails were responded to promptly, and I was given good advice while my wishes were heard and respected. As my case moved toward a settlement agreement, they remembered my preferences and worked to help me understand what was standard, and helped keep a level head. AND THEN when the details of the agreement were clear, I was returned money. I received a refund because my actual costs were less than the amount I had prepaid. I don't think many lawyers operate with that fidelity to honesty. I would have never known if they had just kept the excess amount. It says a lot about the character of Tiffany Vogel and the Law offices of Sterling Lawyers LLC. I don't plan on getting divorced again and I don't wish it on anyone, but if you are going through the agony of separating from someone you once loved, do yourself a favor and hand the process to Sterling. They alleviate much of the legal grind so I could focus on moving on and moving forward. God Bless

I felt as though I had to monitor and follow up with my case more than I would have expected. For not knowing anything about the divorce process, I was expecting some guidance as to what was the next step in the case or when to expect actions to fall on a timeline. It seemed like I got the answers I needed, but only after asking repeatedly. I even expressed my concern to Attorney Vogel. It did get better towards the end of my case after the Paralegal was switched.

I meet with Tiffany to discuss my divorce maintenance/alimony. We worked through all the possibilities and discussed what would work and wouldn’t work. In the end, she provided me with a peace on mind and gave me possible opportunities for the future. Very helpful!
