Attorney Lindsay Houghton

Attorney Lindsay Houghton is a dedicated family law attorney with a primary focus on divorce, child custody, and child support matters. She brings a client-centered philosophy to every case, striving to make a positive impact by ensuring that each client feels heard, supported, and confident from the moment they walk through her door. Lindsay’s approach combines empathetic advocacy with thorough legal knowledge, reflecting her commitment to guiding families through challenging transitions with compassion and clarity.

Lindsay earned her Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 2025, where she tailored her coursework to family law, participated in the mediation clinic, and completed significant pro bono work, including 50 hours with the Pro Bono Society. During law school, she also served as Event Coordinator for the Organization for Student Wellbeing and interned in the GAL unit at the Legal Aid Society, experiences that honed her mediation skills and reinforced her passion for client advocacy. Prior to law school, she graduated with distinction from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2022, earning dual majors in History and Communication and a minor in Business, and graduating on the Dean’s List.

Lindsay’s professional values center on preparation, accessibility, and trust‑building. Raised in Illinois with an older brother who attended West Point, Lindsay's family instilled in her a strong work ethic and a love for service. Outside the office, Lindsay calls Milwaukee home and enjoys exploring its restaurant scene, trips to Door County, and lakeside walks. A Cubs and Bears fan, she loves spending time with her family's dog, Finley, and looks forward to helping you navigate your family's legal journey.
