In Wisconsin the cost of your divorce will be more expensive if it includes the following: Custody and Place over Minor Children, a Dispute in Spousal Support, or the proper division of Property & Assets Additional cost will accrued in any of these issues can not be resolved and the divorce goes to trial. A simple, agreeable divorce will cost less. Going to court will likely double the cost of a litigate, fully represented divorce.
There are costs associated with fees for documents filed and services that are rendered such as a Guardian Ad Litem when there is contested child custody and placement. The list of fees will include the following and their cost known at the time of writing this article:

2) Civil Process Server $60 to $80
