The initial discussion and evaluation were great. Good direction. A few days before the hearing I felt I had to reach out to ensure there was a plan. Attorney was on PTO and then we missed connecting. I finally received call day of hearing and other attorney was throwing some curveballs. Met 20 minutes prior to hearing. Plan seemed a bit chaotic but due to other attorney asking for something unreasonable we won. I liked the beginning and outcome but wish there was better communication prior to hearing. Thanks.

I have received several emails and texts that do not identify who is sending the correspondence. Most have not mentioned SLO until the body of the letter. I am unlikely to respond when I don’t recognize the name who sent the email.

My Ex and I did mediation with Bailey Holt and it was a great experience. She was really good about answering any questions we had and gave good legal insight so we could come to decisions. She also helped steer the conversations during disagreements in a way that helped us come to an agreement. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to do mediation. I also decided to go to Sterling law offices because of how much information their website had about the divorce process. It was a great resource to have so I didn’t go into the sessions with no understanding.

I thought it would have went a little faster, timeline wise. I also thought there would have been more communication between the attorney and I. It would be months before you would hear from them and then right before court or mediation you would finally hear back. I would say I didn't really care for the lack of communication and the asking for money for stage 2 money before I even went to court for stage 1. Then there were a lot of emails.

A lot of good things said waiting in info on other payment plans but after reading that contract I feel like though it’s capped that we would be trapped in a contract that could screw us. However let’s see how the payment options are

Atty. Curran was overall very helpful. I could've used a bit more communication from her and when I did it felt rushed and I was left with more questions. She had the best intention with reaching out but it did feel really rushed and I had more questions than what I started with.

I felt like the response time to emails/questions was quite slow. Communication not always the best.
