I would give Ellen a 10/10 just for putting up with my soon to be ex-wife! All kidding aside, she did an excellent job managing the situation for us and expediting things…although we might have been an easier case then she usually handles \\r\\n\\r\\n \\r\\n\\r\\nI appreciated the good service, patience, and willingness to answer ad-hoc questions….I would simply recommend that she continues doing what she did for us with everyone else that should have been advised to never get married in the first place!

Robert Keenan was a huge help in getting my divorced resolved quickly as well as a difficult custody of my daughter!! She was taken out of state by the mother where we are residents. He was on top of getting all the right paperwork filed with the courts. He had a good repore with the courts and was always very professional and direct. He will not do you wrong. Also it cost me way less using Sterling lawyers on a quoted payment instead of a retainer. I have been in two previous divorces and I preferred this payment better because I felt more free to reach out to him and the legal team without worrying about how much of a bill I was incurring. The start of my experience with the 1st attorney was not the best as he seemed scattered and unorganized at my temporary hearing and he lacked communication which is most important to me, after a few months I was switched to Jack B. And I had a much better experience with him, he was great at communication and walked me through the rest of my case.

I had a family court case that lasted about a year and a half and 5 months before the end of that I hired attorney Jodi Chung to represent me and my family to get a fair placement schedule for my son as soon as she checked in the case thing started to move really fast. She was really educated and knew when to put her foot down in court and out she was highly helpful with every question or concerns I ever had and also was super fast to respond. I really appreciate everything this firm has done to help my family and get my son closer to having a fair structured schedule. I couldn’t have gotten as far as I did without Jodi Chung having my back through every step of the way. Thank you so much.

During my trial that was quite lengthy, Jack Braaten was there and walking me through what needed to be done. Although frustrating at times at how long the court system takes, he fought for me so I was heard and in times of uncertainty he reassured me. Now I am in a good spot working on making it even better. In the end, Jack Braaten came through for me, going above and beyond to help me.

Ellen was amazing. As stressful as the whole divorce process is supposed to be Ellen Rhodeman made everything go smoothly. I wish I had her on my case from the beginning of my separation. Believe those reviews!!!\\r\\n\\r\\nHaving Jeff as my attorney for a year was the worst year of my life. He failed to do a discovery, Failed to do a deposition and missed a very important deadline that severely impacted my case. He filed a motion to compel and it was denied through the court as the court said he had an adequate amount of time to get it done . He also filed a continuance and it was also denied. After I paid him my retaining fee, I did not hear from him until four months later. I sent him messages, finally 21 days later, two days before I had court, he responded to me. He had my prenuptial agreement for 10 months before he even finally read it and he finally read it the day before my hearing in front of me and three other people. He had no intentions on reading it as he even reached out to my previous attorney asking him what he thought of it. I caught Jeff in MANY lies. The few times we met together, I would drive down to Appleton to sit in the waiting room for about 20 minutes before he will call me and then he would say to me"What's up?"I would then ask him don't we have anything to talk about for court and he would say "no not really now get out of here ."There isn't enough room in here for me to say all the unethical things that he did to me. He was always extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.The day before my final hearing, he called me down to his office, which I thought was to prepare us for court but instead, he pointed his MacBook at me and provoked me into yelling at him for not doing anything for the entire year and sent it to the judge! He then told me he quit. He quit on me because he knew he was going to lose significantly in court and didn't want to take accountability. I also knew when I walked into that room he was going to quit because he only had his MacBook in that room nothing else . The judge didn't allow him to quit, In fact the next morning he showed up late for court with only his MacBook and a piece of paper that he told me I had to sign and dare. I thought it was for him to stay being my lawyer as why else would he be having me sign something in court? Nope, he had me sign another contract saying I owe him an additional $13,000 even though I had already signed another contract months ago and Jeff told me it would take me all the way to the end, which I have in a text message. He was always late and unprepared for court. My final hearing, the judge sent us into mediation and Jeff fled court to run to his office to print stuff off since he came to court with nothing. He also came back with nothing because he didn't do anything the entire year he was my attorney. The only thing he had in court were my husband's attorney's exhibits. I was so embarrassed sitting next to him. The judge was so mad at him for everything he did over the entire year and he clearly took it out on my case. The only enemy I had in that court room was my attorney. I wish I could post all the horrible text messages from him. I can't believe Sterling law firm would even have an attorney like this working for them. When his boss called me the other day, I told her I felt like I hired someone who just got out of college and didn't know what they were doing.

Overall our experience with Sterling Law office was good. We dealt with Jack who did our divorce mediation. Jack was always pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. They would have given 5 stars but on several occasions appointments, meetings, and even locations of meetings were changed and rescheduled on short notice. All in all, I would recommend Jack at Sterling for your mediation needs.
