In the beginning there was a bit of delay and confusion with my case. I received repeated requests for information from various paralegals. However, after this was resolved and my case had consistent support staff everything went as expected. Quick and efficient service. My attorney was alway receptive to my questions and requests.
My original attorney that was assigned to my case up and left. Sterling Law Firm took care of the whole thing and assigned me a new attorney later that same day.
In the beginning of the divorce, I feel as though information about certain topics wasn't explained to me very well. All the paperwork and even verbiage were foreign to me. However, a high school teacher, I am guiltily myself of assuming students know certain information and I have explained information in a vague way due to this, and lack of time. I feel as though this was somewhat the same issue between me and Tiffany.
I know she has many other clients and responsibilities, just like I have 150 different students, and 4 different classes to teach on top of coaching and having 2 kids.
The final stages of my divorce were very clear and concise. Communication was good, and it flowed very well. She was able to give good advice in order to get divorced quickly and efficiently and I was happy with the outcome. She related and spoke to me on a personal level which made my interactions with her much more enjoyable and built a sense of trust and understanding which I greatly appreciated.
Overall I would rate her a 9 out of 10 simply due to my confusion on things in the beginning. However, when it came to the final stages which truly counted, I would give her a 10/10.
I feel that for someone who gets paid by time period, Nina let a lot of time go by without moving the actual divorce process forward. It is nearly the end of the first five months, and there has not been any decisions or negotiations. She does respond to my emails quickly and has respectful manner. I just wish she would be more aggressive in moving things forward and in promoting my position. I appreciate that she lets me know how things may typically work out based on numbers, but I need someone who will fight on my behalf so I do not continue to pay for the living of a person who does not want to work to his ability, after doing so for many years already.
