My attorney handled a unique case like a pro.

They walked me through this process. I Did feel at some points things were strung along longer than they should have been. It took over a month for a custody agreement to be submitted when that was the one thing my ex and I had written out through an app in detail. I needed a couple continuous’s. After the custody agreement was in play at end of August I was told that we should be finalized by end of September. But that’s when things moved a little slower. They did give me a two week extension but in that two weeks I felt like answers took longer also. In the end we we got it done the day in needed to be done but I did feel like it was a little rushed because it felt like at times things were dragged on. We started the process beginning of July and finalized beginning of November. But overall I was happy with the way things were handled. Reyna Herrera with the help of Katie VanDeusen were very helpful.

I worked with Atty Henderson for the last year. She helped me through a divorce I wanted to keep cordial, and was unfortunately more contentious. Atty Henderson kept her composure through all aspects of my divorce. She helped me get the right outcome for me and my daughter, and she's made it clear that I can continue to reach out to her if I need any additional support in the future. I contacted Sterling Law because of reviews like these. For complete honesty, I was asked to offer a review as a way of giving thanks, but I do so in accordance with my actual feelings. Genuine appreciation and gratitude. I was getting divorced, I was lost, I was not in the best mental space. I was thinking of handling the process myself. I am so grateful that I instead reached out, and even more grateful that I was assigned Tiffany Vogel as my attorney. But I first want to talk about the consultation. I met with Donnetta Vanderhoeven, who was sympathetic, honest, clear and direct. She was one of the reasons I decided to go with Sterling. She made me feel like I knew what I was getting into. I also liked the flat fee structure. I didn't have to worry about sending an email that cost $350 because I was charged an hour and a typo or miscommunication meant $350 more for a clarifying email. I ended up being quoted a price that was more expensive than I would have liked, but, I also didn't really know what divorces could cost. In the end I felt comfortable with the law offices, the honesty during the consultation and that I would be represented well. Immediately I felt that I had made the right choice. My emails were responded to promptly, and I was given good advice while my wishes were heard and respected. As my case moved toward a settlement agreement, they remembered my preferences and worked to help me understand what was standard, and helped keep a level head. AND THEN when the details of the agreement were clear, I was returned money. I received a refund because my actual costs were less than the amount I had prepaid. I don't think many lawyers operate with that fidelity to honesty. I would have never known if they had just kept the excess amount. It says a lot about the character of Tiffany Vogel and the Law offices of Sterling Lawyers LLC. I don't plan on getting divorced again and I don't wish it on anyone, but if you are going through the agony of separating from someone you once loved, do yourself a favor and hand the process to Sterling.
