You were my law firm for exactly 6 weeks before i had to end our relationship. nI paid you 6000 dollars. All that was done from your end was you made an appearance for me. My lawyer basically never asked about my situation at all. Everytime i talked to her i felt she was rushing me so she could get off the phone with me. I saw the emails she sent to my wife's lawyer and there were multiple mis spellings and did not sound professional at all. So after nothing getting accomplished 6 weeks later i got a refund of 2800 dollars. nI paid you 3200 to make an appearance for me. nVery disappointed with the whole experience

What I paid for vs. what I received was not what I was expecting. For $1000 I thought I would get more than advice and conversation. I prepared the emails for review. The response to those emails were “Looks good”.

Ali was great, she helped me out a lot. I was not sure what to do in a divorce and she filled out forms and submitted them. Ali answered any questions that I had and personally she was great. The communication was a struggle, I had to call the main office

Katie has been super helpful and patient with me. I've contacted her quite a few times during the entire process to make sure I was doing everything correctly when it came time to e-file my documents and I'm really pleased with her response time. She treated me with such care and made sure I knew exactly everything I was entitled to as far as the assets/support goes. I dealt with Katie Vandeusen whilst going through a painful divorce. Katie guided me from start to finish, presenting me with options to get through the process as painlessly as is possible. She was highly professional and knowledgeable. She is also extremely prompt. I would highly recommend her!

I think Katie did the best she could on the case, and she maintained her knowledge of what was going on despite having to go on maternity leave. The case was ongoing for a while and there was a change in situation that potentially could have given us more leverage in the current stage. I do not think this was part of Katie's doing, but moreso the firm's policies. I did not think it was right to introduce additional fixed fees in the middle of the court case, but Katie did do a good job of avoiding the continuation of stage 3 full hearing. Katie did give me an early notification before the case started that we could possibly split case 3, but there was no mention that additional fixed fees could be incurred in stage 2. I would have thought the fixed fees would stay the same, even if new events unfolded in stage 2, especially if it was to our advantage of leveraging the case. Overall, I would still continue trusting and hiring Katie as my attorney, but I do question the fixed fee structure as additional charges were incurred.
