Probably the most impressive thing about Sterling Law Offices is the fact that they have SET FEES per PHASE of divorce!!! They ARE NOT out to nickel and dime you!!! They are not looking to add insult to injury!!! They discuss your case with you, and give you a written fee explanation UP FRONT!!! I am EXTREMELY pleased with the exceptional professionalism and overall care I received while going through a VERY high conflict divorce. Atty. Erin Boyd took over representing me in my case after my initial attorney was promoted within the law firm. Erin had NO CLUE (although we attempted to warn her) what kind of twisted situation we had been dealing with, and she was coming into. However, she learned VERY quickly that she WAS NOT dealing with a “typical” divorce, or a “typical” respondent!! Erin did a stellar job of looking out for MY best interest, despite my wanting to cave in, give everything, and walk away from the life I had been in for far too long!!! Hi Jeff, I struggled greatly with deciding if I should reply to this email. It's been heavy on my mind, so I'm deciding to share my thoughts. I am very disappointed with the service I received from this law firm. I felt as though my attorney simply went through the motions throughout the time she represented me. I felt the minimal was done and that she simply treated the case as any “standard” divorce. I am still going through the divorce, and have now learned that there are many things she missed and could have done differently to work my case more aggressively. I will not ever recommend this law firm to anyone going through a divorce. It is an extremely emotional, difficult, and life changing situation, and I simply don't feel that Sterling treated it that way. I truly felt like I was just another case file. Made it to phase 2, the 11k mark. Very irritated that my ex?s bill was only 3k. Not sure I got 8 grand ?more? out of it. Very upsetting.
