I felt supported and informed at the end of the call. Also appreciate the genuine show of empathy.
Even though a divorce can be painful, I was able get through the process working with Nina Kelly
I had the pleasure of working with Nina at Sterling. She applied her experience and expertise to finish my not-so-straightforward case within what I believe to be the fastest possible timeframe. I would absolutely recommend Sterling to any family or friends due to the professional nature in which they handled my divorce case. Thank you
Nina was extremely helpful along the way, I'm very satisfied
Tiffany was great to work with
I was very satisfied with the service I received from Sterling Law. Everyone was very helpful and supportive. My attorney Nina was always ready to assist me with any concerns I have.
During my trial that was quite lengthy, Jack Braaten was there and walking me through what needed to be done. Although frustrating at times at how long the court system takes, he fought for me so I was heard and in times of uncertainty he reassured me. Now I am in a good spot working on making it even better. In the end, Jack Braaten came through for me, going above and beyond to help me.
Lea was friendly, knowledgeable and helped put my mind at ease by providing information on the divorce process
Knowledgeable kind and Caring
The feeling of you are understood at the end of the meeting.
Facing a modification of child support can feel overwhelming. Luckily for me, I got an hour of Attorney Holt’s time and expertise. She let me know best and worst case scenarios, as well as answer any and all questions about the Wisconsin child support process and guidelines. In addition, should she have to represent me in court, my consultation fee goes directly towards a FLAT rate fee. I especially like that, because at least you know what you are going to have to pay upfront. That is very valuable to me. I highly recommend Sterling Law Offices, and Attorney Holt in particular!
Super friendly, extremely knowledgeable
Holly was very knowledgeable, diplomatic and professional in a challenging situation. That being said, I felt she could have managed our time better. Neither Brian nor I were aware that we were limited to 5 sessions until Holly mentioned it at the very end of our 4th session. It is of course mentioned in the contract we signed and we were responsible for knowing that. Because it is such an emotionally fraught experience we both missed it. Holly had no reason to believe we were unaware of this fact, I'm just suggesting that in the future it might be helpful if she mapped out what needs to be accomplished in each of the 5 sessions at the beginning. At the end of the 4th when she said we only had one session left we were both stunned. We wound up spending almost $7500 and are left with no settlement agreement. \\n\\nThis mediation was particularly difficult because it turns out Brian was in nearly dissociative denial and not really able to take in our discussion. There's nothing Holly could have done about that. The only thing that might have helped would be to have gotten to the financials earlier so at least we'd have had time to wade through the denial.

Holly was great. No prior legal experiences to really compare it to however she seemed like she genuinely cared. Office staff was helpful and friendly also.
Tiffany did a fantastic job listening to me and understanding my situation and helped get the best outcome for me and my kids. Thank you Tiffany!
The sterling law firm would be a good choice for getting help with a divorce. I had a good experience with My lawyer Nina Kelly.
Always willing ti answer. My questions .and very understanding
Nina was extremely helpful along the way, I'm very satisfied
Attorney Nina Kelly was amazing for my son to work with in his divorce. After working with another attorney getting nowhere, being left in the dark and being stressed all the time my son had Nina take over his divorce case and within just a few short months, Nina was able to wrap up the divorce. Nina is a go-getter keeping you informed all the way and answering any questions you may have. I recommend attorney Nina Kelly To anyone that wants an attorney that cares, Listens and gives 100%.
Andria was very easy to deal with and explained everything perfectly. I was very overwhelmed with all of this and did not know what to expect in court. The first lawyer I had explained nothing to me and I could barely get a response from her. Andria answered more questions and gave me a better understanding in 15 mins then I recieved from my lawyer I had for almost a month.
Informative and compassionate
She was wonderful. \\r\\nA big fat 10 !!
I'm not really sure how to answer this because i was so disappointed with the results of the case. I thought maybe the case would have gone differently, but Emery never said anything in my defense. When I did try to speak up and prompt her to give some evidence of the false claim she said…"No Laura. We are fine."\\r\\n\\r\\nI didn't have $1500 to spend so i only paid for a lawyer because I thought i had a valid argument. I was prepared for the fact that I may lose, but not for the fact that my arguments were never made by my attorney. \\r\\n\\r\\nI could have saved a lot of money if I would have know that Emery was just going to let it all happen without at least bringing to light my evidence. She did apologize but that doesn't help me now that my child support has been cut and I'm out all of the legal costs.\\r\\n\\r\\nI have tried to just be calm about it and let it be in the past. My ex husband has taken me to court several times in 10 years and I have never lost to him.\\r\\nSince none of the facts were presented, my ex husband's lie (written in the motion) was never brought to light. \\r\\nUnfortunately, even though Emery is a nice person and I thought we were in the same page, I don't really know what i paid for. So I have not been able to recommend her to other people I know.\\r\\nShe knows how I feel and basically said there is nothing we can do now. So that's where I stand I guess.\\r\\nI was also upset that Mary had told me "flat fee" which I thought meant $1000. Since my ex husband never showed up to the 1st virtual hearing they rescheduled it for later. Because of the delay, Emery explained i owed more money. Again, I was penalized for something my ex husband caused. She explained that it wasn't a "flat fee" and technically 30 days would be up AND they would be filing a new motion. I reminded her that it was exactly the same motion both times. She said that didn't matter and that the extra $500 was actually discounted. Because Mary and I are friends I didn't want to get into it. I think in the future if a hearing is postponed or moved, that should be taken into consideration when charging a client.\\r\\nIf you would like to talk further that is fine, but I think I have said everything.
Ellen was amazing. Everyone at sterling was just amazing!
if I can get informed about the timeline for the service I paid for would be great! I have to pay for extra after three months. I thought I am paying for the service regardless the time until my case is closed.
I hate to give her a 7 but there was a major communication issue throughout this process. \\r\\nI sent her a document to be review and she k to\\r\\nReplied that nothing could be done about what I sent because those documents could not be altered or edited. That was her legal advice. \\r\\n\\r\\nI knew that wasent true so I altered the order through my ex’s lawyers, and then sent the results to her and law firm because I she was incorrect about not being able to alter the document.\\r\\nI was also told directly by the office that if I sent a document to her for review, she would contact me to set up an appointment to review the document and my case in person. This was not done. \\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\nThis was only done after I reminded the office of that statement that was made to me but not cardied through.\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\nTo her credit she apologized for the confusion and was professional and helpful to close the service in the last meeting. \\r\\n\\r\\nSo, overall: we just had some\\r\\nCommunication issues. \\r\\nBut she is a great lawyer.
Respectful and Professional

Clear and upfront pricing. Nina has been patient in working with my situation.
She did a great job helping us and I am very glad we went with a mediator because she was so knowledgeable. Thank you!
Jacqueline made the process easy for me. She answered all of my questions and I feel like from start to finish the process was over very quickly.
It was a great initial meeting. Only a 6 because I'm waiting to see how much further assistance i get with the concerns i addressed when the time comes
I feel things have been smooth, but there could be some greater communication on the timeline and other items to keep me in the loop more
I really appreciated the timely responses to my questions and the ability to talk to a person about what I needed verse uploading and communicating through a computer. I felt heard!
