I had a child custody and placement case that ended up going to trial. During the case I had been trying to get the guardian ad litem to hear me out and she didn't seem to want to hear anything from me. When the case went to trial Abbey was able to paint the entire story of my situation starting from the beginning and show the guardian ad litem what I had been trying to explain to her. I am really thankful for the amount of time and effort Abbey spent putting the full story together with the evidence to back everything up. I really appreciate it

Overall my experience was positive. My case went on for almost a year. There were times where I thought about giving up but was reassured a there was hope. While the outcome of my case wasn’t perfect, it was a huge win for my family. My son is now in a safer environment which is priceless. The billing structure at Sterling had me nervous throughout the duration of the case because it was somewhat unknown however in the end I paid far less than if I hired an hourly firm. I tend to be a bit of an over analytical person asking lots of questions and the team at Sterling was on top of responding and by the end, proactively reaching out and almost over communicating because “I know how you think” to give me peace of mind. Specifically Jack Braaten and Claire Sievert, thank you both so much for giving my kid a better future!

Great representation! Attorney Henderson helped me stay in reality during my case and always told me the scary truth about what would happen in a hearing or court. Sometimes the communication wasn't in a timely manner and got a little frustrating, but it all worked out in the end.
