It took 2 months to get our mediation meeting set up and in that time the two of us had had all the arguments and decisions made so we went in with everything done. Only took 45 minutes to go through everything. Seemed like we did all the work for that part. Other than that I really liked her and have already recommended her to someone else.

The initial discussion and evaluation were great. Good direction. A few days before the hearing I felt I had to reach out to ensure there was a plan. Attorney was on PTO and then we missed connecting. I finally received call day of hearing and other attorney was throwing some curveballs. Met 20 minutes prior to hearing. Plan seemed a bit chaotic but due to other attorney asking for something unreasonable we won. I liked the beginning and outcome but wish there was better communication prior to hearing. Thanks.

Attorney Tiffany Biedermann is great. My case was complex. Lots of layers. She did a great job organizing it all. Her communication with the GAL assigned to my case was also great. I am very happy with the outcome and grateful I had her representation.

I have received several emails and texts that do not identify who is sending the correspondence. Most have not mentioned SLO until the body of the letter. I am unlikely to respond when I don’t recognize the name who sent the email.

There were some problems with my paperwork that was frustrating but overall it had nothing to do with Atty. Gordon and I had a good experience.

Throughout the stage 3 process everything was very passive and the objective appeared to be for me to try to avoid going to trial by compromising. I was convinced to make changes at a meeting a few days before the trial date and these ended up favoring the other side. The judge ruled differently than expected which may or may not have been intentional. I was told that just asking for clarification would cost me an additional 2500. This is after I paid 23K during stage 3 for very little gain. I realize the other side was consistently unreasonable but little attempt was made to ensure that I could benefit at the trial.

Atty. Rhodeman was very helpful, and I felt she went above and beyond to solve my conflict. She was very patient, and very thorough when explaining the entire process and filing motions.

Atty. Diaz has a great personality and is very personable. Everything was great.

When I first had to find a Lawyer to help me through my divorce process I was very stressed. My Ex and I did mediation with Bailey Holt and it was a great experience. She was really good about answering any questions we had and gave good legal insight so we could come to decisions. She also helped steer the conversations during disagreements in a way that helped us come to an agreement. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to do mediation. I also decided to go to Sterling law offices because of how much information their website had about the divorce process. It was a great resource to have so I didn’t go into the sessions with no understanding.

I would recommend Lea Diaz. She helped with all my needs for my case. Everyone in the office was great. If you ever need a Lawyer I would recommend this office. She was very patient with everything.

Overall is a statement about the IL court system and the way attorneys drag out any process. There is little to no sense of urgency, so things move at a snail’s pace. After spending thousands, again, we achieved nothing. There is no incentive for anyone to actually achieve any results, perpetuating the problem and costing me thousands.

I thought it would have went a little faster, timeline wise. I also thought there would have been more communication between the attorney and I. It would be months before you would hear from them and then right before court or mediation you would finally hear back. I would say I didn’t really care for the lack of communication and the asking for money for stage 2 money before I even went to court for stage 1. Then there were a lot of emails.

A lot of good things said waiting in info on other payment plans but after reading that contract I feel like though it’s capped that we would be trapped in a contract that could screw us. However let’s see how the payment options are

Attorney Robert Keenan really was a blessing. He fought for me and pushed for changes as much as was allowed. He cared and that’s what made a huge difference. I definitely recommend this law office for whatever your needs are. They care!!
