Communication: we wanted a lawyer to make the process simple and straightforward. That has happened and I am thankful for that. We have an easy amicable case, but I have had to follow up 2-3 times to get responses- even for basic things like scheduling the next meeting. I understand my case is not as involved as others, but we paid up front and it’s frustrating to be on the back burner, when we could be complete and waiting for a final hearing. Nicole is lovely to work with and understanding when we do meet. It’s just the lack of responses to emails and the unnecessary delay in wrapping up that has made this relationship challenging.

I was made to feel at ease the entire time. Andrea was amazing.

Assigned attorney largely non-responsive. Doesn’t keep me posted on at least weekly updates or at least let me know his week is booked. Staff don’t respond to emails or calls (likely busy). Assigned attorney caught flat-footed/unprepared trusting other side. Had bank account statements for two months from other side and only shared after repeated requests. Asked three times over a month to get tax info from other side. Didn’t feel attorney stood up for me. Conversely, assigned attorney is excellent at playing the long game, focusing on 100 meter target just doesn’t communicate intent well to assuage concerns. I’m certainly not anywhere near your most important client, I’m very responsive, and not needy just a little forward leaning engagement and communication letting clients know/understand context of today’s actions against the long game instead of just facts. These are the majority of my concerns.

The process was clear and easy. The timeline was very quick.

Jack and Claire were exceptional, but I have to say I do feel I paid significantly more than I received. Jack was unable to attend the divorce hearing. He was suppose to be there, that was what I asked for and paid for. I felt not enough pressure was impressed upon my ex husband and his lawyer to submit items in a timely manner. I did not get what I paid for. I would like to request a partial refund.

Very little communication – I really have no idea what's going on with my case week to week. If I ask for a call for clarification it has been granted, but it seems the attorney and other staff are pressed for time and try to get me off the phone very quickly. (Granted, I have not been pressing for more because it's still early, but time is beginning to pass more rapidly and I cannot afford to extend the contract…)

Overall our experience with Sterling Law office was good. We dealt with Jack who did our divorce mediation. Jack was always pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. They would have given 5 stars but on several occasions appointments, meetings, and even locations of meetings were changed and rescheduled on short notice. All in all, I would recommend Jack at Sterling for your mediation needs.

I would give Ellen a 10/10 just for putting up with my soon to be ex-wife! All kidding aside, she did an excellent job managing the situation for us and expediting things…although we might have been an easier case then she usually handles \\r\\n\\r\\n \\r\\n\\r\\nI appreciated the good service, patience, and willingness to answer ad-hoc questions….I would simply recommend that she continues doing what she did for us with everyone else that should have been advised to never get married in the first place!

Sterling Lawyers (and especially Ryan) helped me through the process of getting a prenup. She was extremely transparent the whole way through, and very accommodating to the many changes we requested. The cost was exactly what I was told on the first introductory phone call and there were no surprises. Would highly recommend!

Robert Keenan was a huge help in getting my divorced resolved quickly as well as a difficult custody of my daughter!! She was taken out of state by the mother where we are residents. He was on top of getting all the right paperwork filed with the courts. He had a good repore with the courts and was always very professional and direct. He will not do you wrong. Also it cost me way less using Sterling lawyers on a quoted payment instead of a retainer. I have been in two previous divorces and I preferred this payment better because I felt more free to reach out to him and the legal team without worrying about how much of a bill I was incurring. Again I highly recommend Robert for any of your legal needs!

Nina K was great. Always responded rather quickly whenever I had questions or concerns, which was pretty often. The case didn't end exactly as I hoped, but I'll still call it a win.
