Every one of us has been disappointed by a family member, friend or work colleague before.

And sometimes, we even disappoint ourselves.

When we are upset about how something turned out in our lives, it is easy to blame others or ourselves for being careless. We also assume that the other person did not think about our feelings or we were dumb in not predicting a certain outcome.

But blaming others for how our lives turned out or blaming ourselves for not being a psychic does not make us feel better about how things turned out. Problems can be an occurrence in any relationship which can sometimes lead to things like divorce.

When we are disappointed we have to dig a little deeper and consider: what is it about the current situation I do not like?  what part did I play in this result? The answer is not always obvious.

But knowing what you did in a particular situation is necessary to understand if you want a better future.

If you’ve ever have been disappointed by a situation and need to learn the best ways to deal with it, this episode is for you.

In this episode, you’ll get tips to help you get over disappointments you will face.

What’s more, these tips apply to whether the disappointment is personal or professional. Write them down now and save your future self untold amounts of time, money and heartache.
