Attorney Jessica Naples

Attorney Jessica S. Naples often muses that she didn’t find family law – it found her. After graduating law school, she was lined up to work for the Michigan Attorney General.

But when the financial crisis hit in 2008, she found her new position with the AG was frozen, forcing her to find new employment. She ended up at Haskell Law Firm, where she was given family law cases and fell in love with it.

Jessica is an experienced family law attorney, with experience working in divorce, child custody, child support, collaborative law, mediation, parentage, and adoption cases. Before moving to Chicago she worked at Haskell Law Firm, and Davi Law Group, working primarily in family law.

Often, her work requires her to face complex and emotionally draining cases head-on. She takes pride in helping her clients through one of the most difficult periods of their lives with compassion and empathy.

To her, family law cases are a puzzle – every family and person have their own challenges and no one approach will always work. Using her legal expertise, she hopes to provide the legal pieces to solve even the most complex problems.

Family law cases are often tough, but Jessica is a driven advocate for her those who struggle to have a voice in the legal system. In the past, she has helped spouses escape toxic environments and even prevented a father and son from losing their home and being evicted on Christmas Eve. In the end, her client’s wellbeing is her top priority.

Jessica knew from a young age that she wanted to be a lawyer, and was inspired by her parents to be a tenacious advocate for others. After getting her undergraduate in Political Science, she graduated Cum Laude from Michigan State College of Law.

While at law school she interned at the Organization of American States in Washington D.C. She was also able to study abroad twice in Mexico at the Universidad de Panamericana.

Jessica lives in Chicago with her husband and her young son, enjoying everything the city has to offer. From dinner and cocktails at 100 South Chop House to exploring the various parks with her family, she loves having an East Coast city in the heart of the Midwest with Midwest values to boot.
